CEF was incorporated at the Registrar-General’s Department, Accra, Ghana on June 12, 2023, to establish private Christian pre-tertiary schools throughout Ghana with the same name and logo for the purpose of uniformity and brand enhancement.
CEF was established to provide a holistic educational program in the Christian context for the intellectual, artistic, spiritual, moral, physical and social development of the individual to instill strong Christian values and personal integrity that will help meet the challenges of life.
The International Central Gospel Church embraces a holistic philosophy of education rooted in biblical principles. The church believes that like other human endeavors, education originates from God’s command to man to “be fruitful and multiply and subdue the earth and have dominion over the fish of the sea the birds of the air and over every creeping thing”.
Education is not divulged from God’s command to the human being at the dawn of creation, seeing that up to date, humans are still in the process of discovering God’s great and wonderful world.
Having dominion over creation demands that every human being should have knowledge of God and His entire creation. The human being needs to discover the world (s)he found himself/herself in at the dawn of creation. This is the foundation for learning. It is evident that since that command was given, discovery continues up to the present. There are more elements of God’s creation yet to be discovered. Discovery proceeds on two planes – the invisible world and the visible world.
In the invisible world we discover God and other personalities that are not visible to the human eye. We also learn the principles that govern the invisible world. In the visible world, we discover all about tangibility, what we can see and handle, what we can try our hands on. We also learn the principles that govern life in the visible world.
The ICGC’s philosophy, principles and process of delivering education have all been founded on God’s unchanging word. There is truth yet to discover both in the visible and invisible. On another level, there is need for further understanding of the truth humans have discovered. The scriptures say “of the making of books there shall be no end” which presupposes that there will be no end to learning. God is not against learning. He just wants us to learn His truth and put it in perspective. We can discover God’s truth if we apply principles that align with absolute truth.
